Level IV modules are designed to prepare course designers to work directly with the LMS to upload and manage their content. While this is not required of our course designers -- we have an LMS Administrator who is willing to implement the course content -- some designers like to look under the hood and add or edit Moodle components themselves. These modules were created to enable you to do just that.
Please note that Level IV Certification involves Modules rather than a complete course. Course designers who wish to implement their own content working directly with the LMS are required to complete a minimum of eight modules and are encouraged to complete as many modules as they feel would be beneficial to their work. Each module is designed to be completed in one week. They can be completed in any order.

These resources can help you be successful as an online course designer or instructor. You will find forms, information about course quality, best practices, suggestions on how to preventing cheating, free and open learning content (textbooks and courseware), Web 2.0 tools, policies, recommendations for dealing with student issues, and more. If you have a request or suggestion for adding something to this site, please contact the Director of Online Education at greg.waddell@macuniversity.edu.
